Weโre delighted that youโre considering the Cedi Conference Centre (CCC) for your next event.
To ensure a smooth and professional booking process, please review the following guidelines carefully before submitting your request.
Complete the Booking Request Form available online or at the CCC reception.
Management will review your request and communicate approval status (usually via email).
Once approved, a provisional booking and invoice will be issued within five (5) working days.
To confirm your booking, pay at least 60% of the total amount within two weeks of receiving the invoice.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than two weeks before your event date.
Booking requests should be submitted at least one (1) month and at most nine (9) months before the event.
A refundable security deposit of up to GHS 5,000 may apply depending on the event and facilities used.
All payments must be made into the official University of Ghana โ Department of Economics account as indicated on your invoice.
If no damages occur, the security deposit will be refunded after the event.
All cancellations or modifications must be sent in writing to ccc.econ@ug.edu.gh.
Cancellation charges apply based on the notice period:
More than 4 weeks before event: GHS 100 or 5% of charge (whichever is higher)
15โ28 days: GHS 200 or 10%
7โ14 days: GHS 300 or 15%
2โ6 days: GHS 400 or 20%
Less than 48 hours: GHS 500 or 50%
Changes made within two weeks of the event may attract a GHS 100 fee.
No-shows are charged in full.
Events must take place between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The venue must be vacated within 45 minutes after closing time to avoid additional charges.
Loud music, unsafe setups, and overnight events are not permitted.
Food and beverages are prohibited in the auditorium.
Smoking is strictly prohibited within all CCC facilities.
Only authorized CCC staff may operate audio-visual equipment.
All materials must be removed by 10:00 a.m. the next working day after the event.
Decorations and branding should not damage walls, floors, or fixtures.
Any agreements made directly with CCC management must be respected.
CCC is not responsible for loss or damage to client property during or after events.
Clients are encouraged to visit the facility in advance to discuss logistics and layout.
